IN ORDER TO SEE ALL THE PHOTOS: Click on one of the small thumbnails of L'Hydroptere to the right labled "Voir les photos" and when the bigger photo pops-up click on "Photo Suivante" down in the lower right hand corner. These are FABULOUS photos. Go here:

Hydroptere left last Tuesday (I think) to attempt the Route of discovery record that Fossett established not too long ago. She was doing OK and just getting in the right windspeed when she hit a UFO (unidentified floating object) whilst doing 20 - 25 knots. The damage was minimal but enough to abort the record attempt....that's a neat boat.
