This is shaping up to be a fabulous Wave Nationals. Today (Thursday)is practice races with 20 knots out of the east-southeast, which means flat water on Buttonwood Sound.

For the Nationals series:
Friday, 15 knots, east-southeast.
Saturday 10-15 knots, east-southeast.
Sunday 10-15 knots east.
(Air temp in the low 80's for the duration)

Can't ask for better than that. <img src=

The cast of participants is impressive and includes past champions in various classes, including:
Bret Moss
Kenny Pierce
John Casey
Dan Kulkoski
Kathy Kulkoski
Stan Woodruff
Betty Bliss
Dave White
Leah Soares

Looks like 20-25 boats so far. Will know more after registration is complete. Plenty of room at the Upper Keys Sailing Club if you decide to come at the last minute. And there are still boats available to charter.

With those winds, there will be a LOT of races over the three days.

Very impressive Mary! Is Brian Karr going to cover it? I'll be rooting for you!
