Results from the very successful Gunpowder I regatta are posted on www.sailcrac.com! 43 boats competed on Saturday in flat water and 12 to 18 knots. The majority of sailors camped out and enjoyed the Margarita party and catered lasagna and cake dinner. Sundays racing started late but most stayed to finish the last race in a shifty 6 to 7 knot sea breeze. Congrats to Don Sievert, Bill Kast, and Dan Ward who captured their classes with 3 bullets.
We sailors truly appreciate the efforts of Fleet 54 members Dan and Lynn Flanigan and new score keeper Maggie Flanigan as well as Billy Wilkerson and Dan Deitemyer as well as the marks boat and committee boat volunteers for managing a great event.
