You can send a pix to see. Are the ends of the forestay and the bridle wires terminated in a loop?. Hows the RF attached?. Generally the bow shackle joins all 3 ends (forestay and 2 bridle wires).

Do you have an Original (bridle wires) or North American (bridle foil)?

Generally you do not attach shrouds with a shackle. Did you mean forestay?

Also what kind of roller furler do you have?

Part #56-9649. You can order it from a Nacra dealer or Murrays. It is called a tang plate, basically a 2" piece of SS with hole for the furling swivel and an oval hole for the shackle. It's like 6 bucks. See attached . . .

It looks like you have 2 different swivels and only need one. Get rid of the old style swivel and use the Nacra plate that Philip gave you the part number to. You can also make your own plate at a different length if you need to.

It doesn't look like the bow shackle at the mast would fit either one. My Hobie 18 had a

pigtail

that connected the bow shackle to the swivel. Just a 6" or so section of forestay with loops swedged on both ends to bridge the two.

That appears to be a Harken swivel, it is not 2 seperate swivels. Turn it over (end for end) and the attach it. It should work just fine. The bow shackel will attach the swivel to the forestay and the other end should connect to the shackel on the mast tang by using the clevis pin in that end.

The lower one is a Harken swivel and should be turned around. The swivel he is holding in his fingers old style should be removed. He can use a pig tail or plate like the nacra style to finish hooking up the top.
