Hey Jake!
This might go really cheap. It's an odd ball for a site like this. Most guys trolling that site are looking for something a bit bigger. I know absolutely nothing about this brand. Never even heard of it, but they are all pretty much built from off the shelf parts.
The site is back up. I bet there were some happy bidders! I saw that one earlier but it's a bit small. If I'm going to do this, it has to fit some of the justification for sign production in the second job...at least 4x4 and probably 4x8 to load sheets of sign material. Having crammed an a-cat and trailer separately in my garage this weekend, I'm not sure I have my head screwed on right by wanting to put this in there.
HA! And my feebile mind recalls you wondering if you built
Garage-mahal
too big at the time... Yes, you can never have
too big
when it comes to shop area and/or man-caves...

This was definitely a lesson in that. 1,728 square feet and I'm already having to make space related decisions. This is wacky.

Sh!t, I'm putting up 8700 sq/ft in the spring and I'm already out of space. Trying to figure out how quickly I can add another 7000.
It's never big enough dude.

now THAT's craziness. I can't imagine your heating bill.
Jake, move into your RV, and turn the main house into another workshop?
I can't cover up any more dirt on my property (zoning) and it's already 2 stories.
RV is gone. Sold it and I assume it's a meth lab now. It happened so fast that I forgot to take my graphics off of it and I'm figuring that's going to come back to haunt me any day now.
I'm guessing it'll be about $600 a month. Give or take. Lots of insulation, and off peak electric boiler to heat the floor. I'm pulling that number completely out of my butt though. The current shop is 2500 sq/ft and costs me about $150 a month to heat using the same system. So about $.06 per sq/ft per month. The new building will have a 16' sidewall instead of 12', so that'll lose more heat. I've got room to do geothermal, and I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to spray foam the whole works instead of just batted insulation.
Luckily I only have to heat six or seven months out of the year....
If you told me I could have a million dollars at 8am, but only if I could spend it before lunch, I'd be done by 9:30
I guess $1500 wasn't too bad for that little guy but I would have a hard time paying that (including the effort to go get it in KY) when the electrical enclosure looks like this:
I mean, seriously - just a little pleated lawnmower air filter would have done wonders! ;-). There's no controller either - just the stepper drives so there is probably still $500 to $750 to go just to get it operational.
