Hey Guys,

Thought I ask…what do you guys use to protect, shine and make your BeachCat hulls more efficient? And what kind of procedures and tricks do you guys use?

Try doing a search of this site. This topic has been picked to the bone to say the least.

The short answer is: not much. Soap, water and any basic car wax once or twice a year.

I have noticed more people are using a garden type sprayer to wash down immediately upon coming off the water. Get the salt water off before it has time to crystalize.

Agreed, do a search for more info. I've had good luck with the starbrite stuff with Teflon. Just be careful not to put it where you want your feet to stay. Paste seems to last longer than the liquids, but this could just be my perception. Cheers,

TB

Wax is OK but generally perhaps not for world class racing as it tends to slow the boat slightly. So I've been told...<img src=
