Work is taking me to lovely Racine, WI this week - any ice boats in action up there?

This is a response from my cheesehead sister who lives on Lake Pewaukee in WI. Chris is my nephew and, if you desire to ride on one of those things, he likely could set you up.

RESPONSE FROM Pewaukee Lake in Wisconsin

The lake is finally frozen again. The ice boats were out in full force
Sunday. It might be above freezing this week end, but I think it is still
going to be ok. A week ago Delevan had open water and so did Big Cedar and
so did we. Lake Michigan is still wide open in Milwaukee. I think it would
be in Racine too. If you can tell me where he is thinking about going,
I'll see if Chris knows someone on that lake and get a phone # for him.

There is a new sport here. I've seen it from the living room window. You
put on some sort of ski/skate?, hold onto a small parachute, and the wind
drags you along. It is like parasailing without a boat and on the ice.
Look like fun!
