The Americas Cup now allows inflatable battens (see the ISAF news).
The same article informs that those battens are already being used in the ORMA Open 60 tris. They seem to be an interesting idea:
Probably not heavy - air and tubes instead of fiber/resin.
Adjustable with an air pump when sailing.
Is any smaller multihull using inflatable battens? Any photos, details and comments?
