Amazing boat but right now the web site is showing it sailing at 21.3 knots in 12.7 knots true wind or 1.7 x wind speed. Can it really be that fast?

I would say so. This design has been made to be really fast in medium winds. What disapoint me is that in this kind of weather, Groupama should have beat Orange easy, and after two days the 2 boats are still neck to neck.

Ok... now it's showing 24.7 knots in 10.3 knots of wind or 2.4 x wind speed. I'm guessing these may be readings taken at slightly different times so we would have to average them. Anyway you slice it this boat is quick.
