how easy is it to clear weeds from the curved foils on your hot rod?
Did you have any issues in Biscayne Bay?
The problem is to get insurance for just one event is expensive and the past participation has been low. I have a club that might sponsor/share their insurance with us for the race but waiting approval.
I am sailing from West Palm Beach to Key West and have two committed boats and two more maybes. We will probably do an informal race regardless.
the Keys 100 was always the weekend after the Miami Key Largo Race, and this year we have scheduled the reverse Steeplechase just to see how it will go. Start and finish at the Islander Resort in Islamorada, with Sat finish at the Upper Keys Sailing Club.
