I am looking at a 1979 used 5.2 nacra. The boat looks a little rough but the sails " sails recut last year" and rigging look great. one of the hulls has a small 3 inch crack but not a hole on top of the hull on the inside by the rudder. 1. what would be a good price and 2. W 
hat kind of life would I expect from the boat. The bottom of the hulls look ok. I used to sail a hobie 18 but have no experince with nacra boat. I also am a fatty at 220 and wish to sail on rough lake waters, any history or comments would be of help thanks

hi, i just bought a n5.2 and had a similar problem. I bought a repair from a local fiberglass place and did the glass work myself on the inside. Hard as a rock now. If everything else is good, i would say it's worth a grand maybe. If you treat it right and maintain it, it will last a long time. Good luck!
