I dunno what happened with the Miami-Key Largo Race this year. Rick drove up to the Card Sound Bridge to get pictures, but he missed the first few boats and he said it looked like there weren't near as many boats as usual -- in terms of catamarans, trimarans, monohulls, everything.
It was a close reach, so more boats should have been in sight -- but they weren't.
Then he went back to Gilbert's for a while, and nothing much going on there, either.
We will learn more when the local cat sailors start reporting back to John McKnight about their experiences in the race.
