March 13-16 at the Omni Netherlands Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio will be the Spring Meeting. It would be great to see the cat sailors show up in force. Its been a hard fought fight as we try to move from the fringes of the sailing community into the mainstream. We want to hear from the cat sailors of the Midwest -- you have important ideas and talents to share. Its important for the multihull sailors to have a presence at the US Sailing meetings. Okay, everybody. Here is something that involves politics that have to do with sailing, and there has not been one comment in response.
Why do people have so MUCH to say about world politics and so LITTLE to say about sailing politics?
In fact, not many people even open and read the post. This is really pathetic! 
I can only hope that a large contingent of Midwest multihull sailors will attend the meeting as a show of support for the Multihull Council and Multihull Committee of US Sailing, so we can exert some influence within our governing body and get some of the benefits extended to other councils and committees.
And I'm going to go out on a limb here again and suggest that if you go to the meeting, you might want to THANK the people who have served so valiantly on the Multihull Council to defend the rights of multihull sailors.
Good comments. I attended my first US SAILING/ Multihull Council meeting last year at Marina Del Ray, CA and had a great time. We need to support Art Stevens and his tireless efforts to promote our agenda. Met several multihull sailors from all over the Country. We attended several meetings, took part and made a difference.
