For those who are interest in fitting their own boat, I wonder if it is possible to adapt the Nacra F18 footmast on
other mast.
The tension system for the
diamond
/ spreaders is a quite similar of what was done by Greg Goodall years ago on his A-Cat, and it was clearly the smartest, lightest, cheapest solution. In addition it seems that you can adjust tension more easily, with only one bolt under the mast.
Has anybody a photo of the tension system inside, or has anybody already adapt such a footmast on another mast section ?

I think that you mean Nacra Infusion not F18
If you modify a mast, remember that the mast must be re-sealed above the exit point of the diamond wires or it will fill up!
