Hi,
I have a mast rotator system in my boat but I don't think it is mounted adequately: I have to go to the leeward side to adjust it. And besides I don't know what it is used for. If you know how to mount it please send a drawing

Please describe the system you have now. Is it a wide hoop mounted on the front of the mast? I had a 5.O and never felt the need for a rotator, but the one on my 5.5 uni was really nice downwind. It sounds like maybe you have yours rigged with two lines rather than an endless loop that can be lead to the high side and cleated from there. The trick is to uncleat just before jibe, move back on the boat to jibe, then rotate and cleat the mast from the new high side when you get there.
Good luck

Just add a pulley on the leeward side in front of where it currently cleats off, then route the line to the (other) cleat, the one on the windward side.
Just remember to uncleat before you tack or jibe.
