I am replacing the diamond wires on my 5.8 this weekend and would like some recommendations on tension and spreader rake.

The boat is an older model without the NA upgrade. I am sailing with a crew weight of 340 - 350 mostly on inland lakes. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

The boat has a dacron main and jib. The sails aren't very new either.

While your weight is at the upper range of this setting it a better setting than tight wires:

SPREADER RAKE: 1/2"

Tension: 30lbs (Very soft)

Write back with any questions.
