I'm sure this must have been asked before but...

I have a Euro Nacra 6.0, parts and sails are not that common over here.

What are the differences between a Nacra 6.0 and a Nacra 6.0NA? Are all but the rig interchangeable?

Dan

There was a very similar thread about this a while back about the 6.0Express. You are correct that the platforms are the same except for the rig (including the bridle foil).

Jake,

Thanks for the pointer, I just read back through that thread.

Would still like to know what the difference in the sails is - can I run up an NA jib or main?

The jib will not work because it has a very low foot designed to work with the bridle foil. I'm pretty sure that the mainsail on the NA version is a bit taller than the standard 6.0 too ... but I'm not certain. Anyone?

The mast sections are the same but the hound is higher
+ longer spreader arms + double diamonds wires.
The NA bridle foil is shorter. Main sail has more roach but same luff. As stated above much larger jib.

Thanks for the advice guys - I think from the above that I could run up an NA mainsail but not head sail.

Many Thanks

Dan
