I am replacing the line on an F18 mast that connects the spin halyard block to the head of the mast. I have a spool of covered vectran and am considering using that, or is there another line that would be better suited to the purpose?

Thats probably what I would use, I think that's what comes stock on the Tigers, you'll probably have to replace it after a season or two.
