Anyone have used Prindle parts? I have a cracked port side rudder casting. It hasn't come apart yet but I don't know how much stress it will take. Crack goes right through the rudder bolt hole...must be a weak point. Anyway it's an '82 P18. Has anyone had any luck welding cast aluminum?

What is it with the port side, I broke mine a few weeks back, also the port side. It can be welded, I have had that done in the past. But it may break again right at the weld, so I would replace it if possible. Also look over at
www.thebeachcats.com. There is a P18 being parted out.
A P16 will also fit.
