announcing the DJ1!.
So, ive been parting out the Ht, sold the mast to a guy doing the ec challange, sold the main, and no one wanted the hulls and the rest of the parts, so i decided to make it an Acat.
Chopped the Forte Carbon beams down, glued the hulls onto them, faired and sanded the hulls and added back in all the ht foils, daggers etc. Mike Krantz's old fiberfoam mast, new rigging, custom carbon travelor bracket, and she looks great. Pictures later today.
What's it weigh?
Not sure, my best guess is 185. Took the original weight and subtracted the individual parts that got left off, ie spin gear, riba mast, etc and added back in fiberfoam mast.
The hulls where too big to fit on my scale.

Pics and weight please!! I'm thinking about doing the same, be interested to hear how she goes compared with the XJ, A2/A3 etc.
