I've bought new tires and hubs and bearings for my 76 Hobie 16 trailer - should I buy new bearing grease or is wheel bearing grease the same as it was make 15 years ago when I bought my last can of it?
I have to make a boom box my last one was plywood and rotted when my tarp leaked- any cheap easy suggestions?

I heard that bearings and races can go bad from just sitting around. If the bearing stays in one place for too long, the bearings and races deform. So it's possible for bearings with not many miles on them to go bad.
