Hey all,

I was playing around with my new Prindle before taking it out on its second sail before next weekend. The rudders don't have a problem falling down and locking into place; however, it does have a problem releasing the rudders once they are locked. It took my whole body weight to pull back on the rudders and have them unlock. The ropes that go through the rudder assembly and the pulleys inside the rudder assembly seem to be missing/out of order. Can anyone explain to me how the pulleys and ropes are supposed to look/be set up? Any online owner's manual available for this boat? Thanks for all your help.

-Josh

It's always easier on the water because the blades are buoyant. Any forward motion of the boat helps to get them up too

I remember that the uphaul line must divert around a bar that locks into the steel hook on the blade
