I am installing a Hawaiian Righting System on my Prindle 16. I would like guidance on where to install the U brackets on either side of the Front crossbar that leads the righting line from under the boat to the port and starboard hulls. Please advise on how many inches from the end of the crossbar the bracket should be and where to locate it on the cross bar (top, outboard or tucked under just before the dolphin Striker V Bar). Thanks

Can't you ask some one at the beach? Or would you need to first return to the 80s to find cat sailors on the beach?
Any way when i put that system on a hobie 18 which has the main beam flush with the hull like the prindles, i tied a turning block to the lip on the outside of the hull in front of the beam. Just drill a hole in the lip. maybe seal it in case you hit bubbles in the lam.
After that line was stolen off the boat i switched to a righting pole. Was doing more solo sailing and didn't need a chicken line, but did need a lever to re right.
