The Race to Oxford is one of the major races on the Cheseapeake Bay. 240 monohulls will start in front of the maxi cats (F31's Renoylds 33 etc) and then the Beach cats just off of Annapolis, MD. I expect we will have 8 to 10 boats racing the 35 miles to Oxford. The goal is to be on the beach toasting a great sailing day while the monohulls come up the river to finish in front of us on the beach under spinaker. The Saturday party is huge! with a great Band, food and bar. Sunday.. you slam your Hammond punch down to pick you up for the 9 am race back.
