Well, first race-leg is over; they are now in Lisbon (Portugal) from which they will start a long leg to Capetown Southafrica.
I find these little vids made by the crews exquisite miniatures.
Its the first time that I see crew in a world regatta during sailing laughing and joking with each other. Even kicking a row.
The social interaction on board between the male and the female members is surprising. It gives a totally different atmosphere on board.
Still they are sailing and sometimes coping with severe and strong circumstances; but somehow it seems different and lighter.
Did you notice that the women are flirting with the camera.
Spectacular helicopter live video of the 2nd leg. Commentary is excellent. Pretty sure a playback will be posted in time. A must see . . .
