Sorry for the postponement but it looks like due to scheduling conflict with PBYC event we will move RTI to Sept 27, Sept 28,2014. As an added incentive the registration fee will be dropped to $10 per person.
More info coming very soon on race package,live band,etc. Weather in late Sept usually better ....more wind and not so hot!

Cancelling this race less than 24 hours of the start is unacceptable. I would have been extremely pissed showing up today to find out there was no race. PBYC Pier and Back has been known about for weeks.
If you want to have a race for the locals continue what your doing. If you want to give RTI the respect it deserves then plan and promote. We've been over this before.
Actually Pier & Back has had that date for years past and I agree with you on the respect & Promoting of a 33 + or - year regatta. Cant make it , have to work.
So you wouldn't set your boat up, go sailing, and make the best of the situation?
