I'm thinking of keeping my boat up in Marblehead, MA for part of next summer, does anyone know of anywhere in the area where I could leave my boat on the beach? Also, where do people launch around there and are there many cats in the area? Thanks.

The place is called Deveroux beach. There used to be a Tornado fleet there. There are a few cats in the area but don't race. I will have to see what is needed to leave a boat there.

I've been to Devereux a few times. didn't think of it as a cat beach. I've seen boats left across the street at the boat ramp, but that would require sailing all the way out through Marblehead harbor, which could be pretty tricky if the wind is not good.
