The following message was received today from Art Stevens regarding the SL16 Gold Cup Regatta in progress at La Baule, France. Hopefully, a link is included to intermediate results plus an article. Also, I don't read French but it appears that the American team (Mike Siau/NY and Sarah Newberry/FL) were in 2nd place when the article was written. More will follow when known.

We are here in La Baule and the kids are doing very well. I am trying to send you pictures but it wont work.
I am attaching a copy of yesterdays results. Maybe Darline can post them on Cat Sailor and US Sailing?????????
As you see they are in third place right now but expect they can move up. The fourth race was bad because of one OCS but they are trying. The two kids ahead of them are very good but they can beat them if they have any luck. We are dealing with currents and race committee changes we dont always see at home.
We have two more days of sailing so expect more soon.
