For those sailors that race in the SE, can you populate your

expected

attendance at identified regatta's at:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=tVvemBJkMOMhCJ_mxZldisg&hl=en
This Google spreadsheet is unprotected, so you can add rows to include your name.

Place a Y or N or ? in each cell to indicate your attendance.

Please note that this is pretty much a Florida-only

South East

list. We have other regattas in GA, SC, and NC that do not appear. We intend to have a similar list up soon (or figure out if it's beneficial to combine the two) - but for the time being, the EMSA sailing calendar can be found at www.emsa-sailing.org.

Tru Dat, Jake.

I put this together for Florida F18 and F16 sailors. Listing most of the races that we'd typically go to...it's a great tool for seeing at a glance (a

dashboard

) who's * planning * on attending various regattas.

It's an OpenSource document so anyone can add or modify it.

I like how someone went in and said that I wasn't coming to Hobie mid-winters east.

Thanks for that.

In a couple weeks I want to set a date for the Macho Man. I thought I saw it as part of the endurance/ distance series schedule.

In the past it was kind of lax in the rules but I'd like to change that and have it run and scored by TBCS. Just wondering what the intrest is. The race normally happens toward the end of March so if anyone has dates around that time that would work for the masses please chime in. Thanks!

Hi Mike,

I would like to possibly get it back on the Endurance Series schedule. I just got home from a 6 day vacation. Send me a PM and I will try to get back to you today but it will probably be tomorrow.

This could be done much better if anyone has access to a sharepoint server. Can set up a spreadsheet like this, but limit users to only editing/deleting their entries.

May want to change the thread title also.

2011, is that code, or is everyone going retro?

What are the dates for 2014 Tradewinds? I am hoping it does not conflict with Key West Race Week Jan 19-24.

Isn't this thread a bit stale to be pinned to the top of the bulletin board? Let's unpin it and let it sink.

The link shows the current 2014 calendar.

The thread title is a bit dated though, isn't it <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" />

Can you edit a thread title?

Tradewinds is ALWAYS on MLK weekend, is that right Rick/Mary?

It's time to start thinking about TW 2015, which should be Jan 16-18, if it's still on MLK weekend.

Is the current topic the 2015 schedule?? I plan on attending a ton of regattas this coming season, mostly around the gulf/Fl panhandle. Ocean Springs has several killer regattas along with Juana's good time regatta in fall. The last few years there have been anywhere from 30-65 catamarans at all of them. Its more of just a fun thing for me but we love our Hobie 20 Miracle in the ocean.

+1 Tim, I enjoy the sailing with others just as much as the racing. Always learning.

The sport needs more folk with your attitude. As you develop and move closer to the

pointy end of the fleet

, hacks like us will test your patience with all kinds of questions and requests for advice, but it keeps us showing up...
