Does anyone know what a safe diameter for spectra trap lines is? Forget the static ratings, I would just like to know what size seems not to break under actual conditions.
How often do you need to replace the lines?

I have an FX-One with vectran line for the traps at 1/8th...Im 6-1 225 live in the caribbean where they are under a lot of sun and have had no problem...after 3 months I took the mast down...not knowing what Lili was going to do ...I looked at the line where it loops over the side stays,,,I did tape the ends ....there was no chafing at all....so far so good
