we are curantly sailing a 4.9 taipan sloop in QLD and early next year we have a taipan international regatta in Thailand
my brother and i have been sailing since the age of 5 in a sabot and have progressed sailing through to faster and faster boats now we are on a 4.9 sloop one of the fastest 16 foot cats in the world.
we had our nationals at the begining of the year in VIC which we placed 3rd out of 35 or so. And recently won the states up here in Qld, and NSW. Our finances are quite low since we are only apprentice's its very hard to afford to travel to events. My brother(chris) and myself have sailed together for about 2 years and since the first day we have sailed together have been very hard to beat over the line by 5.7 with kites, and hobie tigers alike.
without help from a sponsor it will be very hard to travel to Thailand after going to South Australia for our nationals in early January.
We are looking for sponsorship for the upcoming season to enable us to travel overseas to compete in major regattas
on any class of catamaran, Great results guaranteed.
