Spring Fever is on!

12th Annual Spring Fever Regatta

I guess I’ve received enough emails that it’s time to make the announcement that the Spring Fever Regatta is definitely on for Easter weekend, April 10-12. 2009.

As many of you have heard, due to one of the longest droughts on history in our part of the state and the lack of planning by the Army Corps of Engineers, the lake level here at Lake Hartwell dropped to a record minus 22.5 feet below pool in mid-December. Due to the increased rains and the reduced outflows now being better managed by the Corps, by Easter weekend the lake will be back up to acceptable levels to hold the regatta.

I am in the process of attempting to move the TwinHulls web site to another server but hope to have pre-registration ready at least by the first of February if not before. Details should be posted by then and I will be sending another email as soon as the site is ready. The rest of site may be down for a few days during this transition.
