I wonder if they'd notice one of those engines strapped to my 430/F14? <img src=

Reminds me of the winner of the fake 2006 Darwin awards email that floated around.

If you're looking for them, here's the real Darwin awards.

I had a great dream about flying that thing! Imagine the feeling you would get when you romped on the gas. You have this thing that is strapped to your body and all of the sudden it wants to go. It would probably give you a bit of down as it is not glued to the body it will tend to roll over a bit. At least in my dream.

If you ever hang glided you know the feeling of flying. You look down not at the wing (almost as if it is not there) and it feels as if you are a bird. With this device you would be a rocket bird. TOO COOL!

Dan

That is right Maugan20, just keep ignoring all the uncomfortable details, will make it much easier to vain surprise at why the next

mission accomplished

goes awry.

Those who fail to learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them.

Back to the topic. That thing is just soooooo cooool !

I have to apologize for mud flying contest I started yesterday. I truly believe that US behavior at WW2 and immediately after is a brightest example of very smart and very well executed international politic. Other parties’ achievements and weaknesses were used to gain a status of one of the world’s superpower. All it was done with little cost to countrymen (relatively little cost, compare to other parties involved). I just wish to see more examples like that one.

Again, I apologize, it seems like a level of testosterone in my blood is starting to pump up prior to one big (for me) sailing event.
Peace.

What was it all about? Flying? MIG 21 sucks. We did nice pontoon boats out of its external fuel tanks, though… And it has tons of silver in it; our honeys were getting nice jewelry.

And of course, over here the external tanks became hot rods and Bonneville Salt Flats racers...

Vladimir,
First of all, this whole thing has been blown out of proportion by the same yahoo who blows everything out of proportion. I mentioned that we used the

brick with jets

comment towards MiGs and

Woot the Hoot

went ape-poop over it. What he failed to find out was that we weren't talking about the MiG-21, we were talking about the 15 and the 17. I would venture to say that even to this day the 21 is a formidable opponent. The 29 is pretty sweet too, but like many of the modern US aircraft, it requires a significant amount of maintenance. The brick comment was not meant as a bust on Soviet aircraft. The same thing could be said about US aircraft from the same era.
But true to his (Woot) nature, next thing I know, we are seeing who can pee the farthest and beating our chests.
It was just a simple comment that was taken WAY out of context.
Despite the fact that I believe we have the best Air Force, that doesn't mean that other forces are slackards. Who in their right mind wouldn't root for the home team, especially if you play on the home team?

I used to fly Radio Control Combat Gliders. I wonder if I can take that knowledge with me when I am invited to join the group on their next outing. Maybe fly the version II so I can get 10 minutes out of the flight that I wish lasted longer. Looks just like one of my gliders...not much larger than some at the slope where I flew.

Let's all get one!

With the second one they are strapping a tail section to his feet and a **** for a little monkey on his back. The joy stick is in the usual place and the monkey just has to grab it and pull hard enough for a loop de loop.
Damn, that monkey is one xtreeeem dude man.
