Trailer info. needed for Reynolds 21
Not without upgrading the axle & springs...a hobie 16/18 trailer will be a class 1. What does the reynolds weigh? Length might also be a problem if the draw bar of the trailer isn't long enough...remember you've gotta clear the bows when cornering.
Isn't the reynolds 10 ft wide? If so, you'll have to modify the trailer with wider support arms to storaging/launching the boat on it & have the ability to retract the arms for road use. How does the reynolds fold/telescope to get to 8.5'?
Mike.
I seriously doubt it. I imagine the Reynolds 21 is much too heavy for a Hobie 16 or 18 trailer - not to mention that it's 10' wide (and will need to be disassembled for transport). You might be able to beef up the springs and the axles but even then I doubt the trailer frame would be strong enough. Tongue length on either trailer will probably not be enough as well.
