In the North West, Sail Sand Point in Seattle,on the North Shore of Magnuson Park, Lake Washington, gets my vote. See www.sailsandpoint.org. In addition to the programs listed on the website, Hobie Cat Fleet 95 conducts Hobie 101 and 102 at this location. In 2006, there will be new beach access, new ramps, larger storage, and improved facilities. New classes with Hobie 16's in additon to the current Hobie Wave Classes will be added. Also, the Monday night racing will add Hobie 16's. Come and enjoy the new facilities and classes. Several new Fast and Fun, free sailing events will be held in 2006.
