I've notice there are lots of video tutorials for surfing, windsurfing and SUPs but there is also this.

The International F18 class is considering developing a DVD or web based tutorial program for our boats. Would that have interest from people?

If so, what sort of things would you like to see?

It's a joke! Maybe someone will get it.

But, if you're going to all the trouble maybe some real life mark and gate roundings at speed?

Basic setup would help a lot of people. An F18 is rarely a first boat though, on the other hand everyone was new to the class at some point.

The Racine videos are a nice start - good content. Would be better if they were cleaned up and condensed down a bit. Should also include on water demonstration of tacking/gybing choreography with slow-mo, commentary, etc.

That was the joke of sorts. Hopefully time has treated you well and you haven't aged a day.

+1 rehmbo.

Something else to add is mast and sail tuning. It's been a while since I've watched the Racine videos, but I don't recall them going through how to properly set batten tension and spreader rake for a given mainsail/mast combination.

There is properly some marketing value in a promotional video. The Ronstan 18 foot skiff sailing video pretty much makes you find a way to go race skiffs; something similar for F18 sailing would be awesome!
