Anyone have any information on a 16' cat called a typhoon (we think!) it has an eagles head logo on the sail?

They only 16 ft catamaran design with the name Typhoon is my adaptation of a Taipan 4.9 to Formula 16 rules. (same setup but wider beam , different shape mainsail and jib , added spi and modified deckshape) I never encountered another beach catamaran with the name Typhoon hence my decision to call it that. Neither USsailing handicap listing, ISAF Schrs rating or Texel lists such a design at this moment.

I don't have eagles heads as a logo.

For more info you can mail me but I would also very much like to know if you found a different 16 ft catamaran design that is called a Typhoon.

You are quite safe Wouter, Andy has found that he has a Condor catamaran, with that bird's head on the sail.
They were designed in 1969 and were very popular in the UK before the Dart 18 came along and continued as the major fleet in Ireland until the end of the 80's. They were modified by Reg White in their final years and became Hurricane 4.9's
