Which region will generate the biggest turnout of the year for these signature regattas?

Fleet 204's 30th Anniversary Madcatter Regatta takes the lead!

Cool! ...What a great challenge.... a really positive catfight!!!

Tradewinds (Florida Keys) 61 Boats (January)
Spring Fever (South East) 61 Boats (April)
MadCatter (North) 92 Boats (May)
Statue of Liberty (Mid Atlantic) (July)
CatFight (Central USA) (August)

Mad Catter also take sthe lead with the largest one design turnout (Hobie 16A).

The Tornado Class holds onto the spin boat turnout with the OCR's edging out the Tigers at the MadCatter.

What are the big Texas and West Coast events coming up?

Those Sandy Hook guys have a real challenge on their hands to meet their goal of 100 boats and beat out the Madcatters!

Mark, You can add:2006 H16 Nationals 56 boats to your list. I gotta say those 204 folks are very impressive! Sandy Hook isn't too shabby either!

So far this year in Texas the big ones have been:

Ruff Riders - 38 boats (big drop over the last 4 years)
Wayward Winds - 39 boats (growing past 3 years)

Plus Deep South in Lake Charles, LA which attracts a lot of boats. I can't lay my hands on the results but think it was >50 boats. The 1200lb (yes 1200) of Crawfish draws 'em in from all over.

No really big events left this year. The Texas Cat Champs typically only draws the hard core crowd.

Chris.
