If you are coming to Corpus Christi for the F18 Nationals, you need to register next week to get some special give aways!

Registration will open on the May 28th and the first 10 teams to register will get a surprise gift when they get to Corpus. It will be well worth your time to register early.

We will be sending out the link next week so be ready!

Steve

Registration isn't going to open at like 5 am pacific is it? Team Capricorn is coming with the new boat, and maybe even an aussie team joining us.

Steve,

I've read thru the NOR, etc.

Is there any camping on the site?
What about RV's and electrical hook ups?

Very important to know as we'll be coming from my current state of WI with several entries from CRAW.

Thanks Steve,

Todd Bouton

Todd,

We will be sailing out of downtown Corpus Christi out of the Emerald Beach Holiday Inn. Since we are downtown, there is not an RV site near the regatta. However, we may be able to host people at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club. Let me discuss this issue with the people at the CCYC.

To all,

We are offering a 'surprise' gift to the first 20 teams that register. (The gift will will be given out at registration.)

We now have 18 teams registered (in just a few days). If you know you are coming, it is time (right now) to register and get one of these gifts. Do it now, now, now!

Register now at http://www.regattanetwork.com/event/8448#_registration

I think for events like this Pre Registration should count as the first race. (Then I get at least one top 10 every year.)

Jeff points you to the website where there is information on RV camping. It also shows the location on a map.

For convenience, this is a note put together by the regatta chair, Martha Avery:

We still have registrations coming in daily…Thanks to everyone who helped get us started! Here is the information on our host hotel, local RV Park and Travel Information in getting to Corpus Christi, TX. Please help spread the word and get posted on websites…. THANKS!!!

Our Host Hotel for the 2014 US F18 National Championships is the Emerald Beach Hotel at 1102 S. Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78401. They are offering special rates of $89.00 for Two Double Bed room or $119 for Two Double Beds or King Bed rooms with a Bayview.

There are a limited number of rooms blocked at these special rates so please call the hotel directly at #361-883-5731 and refer to the following group code to assure proper room rates: code: F18

There is a conveniently located RV Park within a 10 minute drive to regatta site. Their information is below.
Puerto Del Sol RV Park
www.puertodelsolrvpark.com - (361) 882-5373

Attached is additional Travel Information to Corpus Christi, TX. American, United and Southwest all serve the Corpus Christi Airport….Lots of ways to get to Corpus Christi, TX and lots of great accommodations once you all arrive! So, no excuse not to make plans now to race in the 2014 US F18 National Championship Regatta in October!

Keep your questions and suggestions coming to me! I appreciate all the great minds working on this!

Thanks,

Martha

Steve,

Can you send me your email info to jake[at]greenroomgraphics.com? I don't seem to have an accurate way to reach you.
