And of course, individual members and member-organizations are eligible to make nominations for any of the positions Don listed. Just because there is a name in the slot right now does not mean that person automatically gets the job, folks. YOU decide. <img src=

May I take that as a nomination, Mike? <img src=

Also, looking ahead; the AGM for 2009 is in League City, TX in October. I expect that there will be some longer-term plans coming to fruition around then, so I want to get the meeting on people's radar now. We have been able to get regional multihull sailors notified and mobilized for the last few meetings - you folks in Texas, Louisianna, Mississippi, Arkansas and Oklahoma are on notice - the circus is coming to town. Help us show that multihull sailors are real people. <img src=

Even if nominated, I will not be eligible for another term after 2009, and a new Chair of the Multihull Council will take over at that time. Keep in mind that a seat in the House of Delegates and a position in the Nominating and Governance Committee currently go along with that job. Want to be in the thick of things? That's where it’s at, as far as non-class-specific jobs go.
