My main resolution is to try to find more places for cats to sail out of in South Florida.

In no particular order

  • Sail on new years day
  • Make a film to promote cat sailing (in the style of "step into liquid")
  • Get at least three cat sailing stories in our regional newspapers
  • Support our local dealer at the boat show in Houston
  • Grow the local fleet by 25%
  • Ensnare a few more regional sailors into the F18 class
  • Try and win something.....6 second places in '04

Chris.

Formulate and execute a physical fittness plan to get myself in shape for the T500 before the end of January.

Get on the water at least twice a week in a competitive nature, no matter what the boat or weather.

Keep my room clean so my woman doesn't defenestrate me.

Pray that moving in with the woman isn't the worst mistake I've ever made.

I think that about covers it.

Oh yeah and...

Profit.
(always gotta throw that one in last)

6, Save up for an M18.

7, break the 70mph Barrier on ski's (subject to 1A) (GPS in my pocket is the plan)

8, Break the 20kts barrier on my boat (got close at 17.8) and then 25 after that

Chris-

Hakan posted a video this year that was pretty cool. He also listed the equiptment he used to make it. For some reason i think it was attached to his head???

Glad to hear the H area is coming back. I called to enter a couple of regattas [DFW area] this year but was told by one lady "buy a Hobie so you can come play with us" and another guy told me I could enter but there was only class racing so you would be racing by yourself".

I will not sell my ARC22/FMS 20 to sail in this area's regattas! As soon as I can rig a tilt trailer I will be able to travel and enter a few events. If you have seen CAldwell's SC20 tilt trailer you won't be too suprised to see mine....just longer.

Since your fleet is thriving and growing, how about hosting a Rick White Sailing Seminar this spring. Just like putting on a small regatta.
To check it out, go to www.sailingseminars.com and click on How to Host...

Good luck in the new year,
Rick

Not in order.
1. To enjoy everything.
2. To never speak a negative word.
3. To get some second places racing, or any trophy.
4. To get Married to my Crew.
5. Sail more suffer less.
6. Enjoy what I got, sell everything else.
7. attend a RW sem at the dike.
