Wind is gonna be up and temps are gonna be warm on Saturday. I was considering checking out Lake Perris (Riverside County) for the first time - anyone have any experience there and can provide some tips for launch, places to avoid, etc?

I have only been there once, like 10 years ago. My uncle lives in Riverside and we took his H18 there. Seemed like a decent lake. There was a little sandy beach to launch from. But again was 10 years ago. Seemed like a nice spot.
