I'm just wondering if there is anyone, actively, sailing around on the lakes of...let's say...from Stockton up to the boarder? And, where do you "get'um wet"?
I don't see them towed,on the roads? Am I going to be alone in Sacto?

Hobie Fleet 2 is in Northern California. Originally based out of the foothills, but now spread over the Sacramento valley. My brother is currently commodore (www.hobiefleet2.com). The fleet is camping at Black Butte Reservoir near Orland for Memorial Day weekend. Check out their website, a fairly active group mostly lake sailing in Northern California. If you are sailing this weekend you might stop by up there. Last I checked they had H16's, H18M's, H21's plus some odd balls (my brothers Supercat 20 for example). They always have something planned for the summer 3 day weekends, and have other weekend sails and social activites throughout the year. Great group of guys and gals.
