looking for a little adventure?...come and race october 6 @ pass christian yacht club. it's a ~30 mile race around cat island starting and finishing right in front of the club. last year was a thrill ride with some good winds and pretty BIG waves on the southside of the island...if you like stretching your legs and tasting a little blue water then you will love this! when i rounded the second mark, the waves were taller than me standing on the crossbar reaching as high as i could :-O !!! so inspect those boats, make your repairs and get-u-some!

I noticed the race notice says: "ALL ENTRIES MUST HAVE WORKING RUNNING LIGHTS AND EITHER A VHF RADIO OR A WORKING CELL PHONE."
Do they enforce the "running lights" on the beach cats?

no, last year they said a flashlight will do and never checked...there were 2 tri's and 2 nacra 20's and me on my p16...and a bunch of leaners...
It should be said, this race has NO, I repeat NO, chase boats. You are on your own. Prepare accordingly.
