He did okay for a 71 year old dude. This was at a small local lake. Gusty northwesterly. Good day. He had a ball. We were out on his 5.2. He was out on the wire too but i left the camera back at shore.

My grandmother crewed for me in a lake race when she was 73.
She was very excited about it.
We were on the P 16, and when we had to tack, she would lie down and roll carefully to the other side.
When the wind built to 10 kts and we flew a hull momentarily, she turned to me and asked, we're going fast now, aren't we?
30 years later it still makes me smile.
Your dad is Awesome Dude! WOW you will remember this forever you must have alot of good sailing memories with him.. Mine wont even come out on my Reynolds! 🙁
