Streaming Live From the Florida 300
If you pull up the Kattack tracker right now you can see both the Lupe Tortilla (Flying Phantom) practicing and the Rocket (Nacra 20FCS) coming down from Miami.
Rocket should be getting here in about an hour. If you watch the track you can see when Rocket gets close, then watch him come in live on the stream.

Look at the tracker, Lupe and Rocket may have a head to head run back to Islamorada. Lupi is out practicing and he has headed out to meet the incoming Rocket. They are close enough to see each other now.
Dramatic moment, first time the two brands of Foiling beachcats have been on the water together.

z-velocity,
I think you are right about Vero Beach but check the SI.
The fairly exact coordinates of each stop are in the sailing instructions at
They are started! The Internet connection went down right at the start so I'm not sure if you guys got to see the feed. After it went down I went out to the end of the dock to take pictures. Will post on Facebook and here.
Now we jump in the car and head up to Key Biscayne. In some of the legs it might be hard to beat the racers to the finish.

Damon,
Thanks for the info. I think South Beach is the only place in Vero you could pull a cat off the beach. There is an open track/road along the north boardwalk from the parking area to the beach.
If you, or the guys need anything I live (25yrs.) close to the beach. I will be around in our golf cart for the finish and start.
Look forward to seeing these cats. Last cat (tunnel hull) I had was 19' with a 235 Johnson. Fooling around on a Sunfish now. Hope to learn and step up to cat soon.
Great feed this morning.
