Is there a resourse that I can access to find out the age of the boat by the hull number?

The decoding of HIN numbers changed in 1984, it was still the last three digits but before 1984 it was a two digit year followed by a letter to indicate the manufacture date like 78A would be a a 78 model built in August of 1977.
Using the post-1984 method that same boat would have 778 as it's last three digits meaning a 1878 model built in 1977.
Model years general started in August, which is why A represented August it's not an abbreviation.

So that is probably, I(the letter i)75 meaning built in April of 1975.
Cool, I bought it in April, had been sitting 2 years, likely out twice in the 2 years previous.
I replaced all the lines, had some serious polishing to do to get some of the oxidation off... nasty....
I used the 3M rubbing compound and a foam discon my drill.

one rudder had been hollowed out where the "UP" line comes out, he had a bolt in it.. I cleaned it all up & used epoxy cold weld to fix it.
Ordered traps on ebay, 60$ Can delivered, I am in the central BC interior.
