I've bought a unique boat, Pacific Cat

This is a 19 foot pacific cat. its solid between the hulls and has centerboards (anyone wonder why theyre "center"boards on a boat with 2 hulls?) and has a jib. i would like to sail this thing in high wind but to i need a trap to keep from rolling with only 2 ppl? also what kind of person gear (wetsuit etc.) do you kind people recomend. thatnks

Damon, you said i should not use bottom paint. How should i take care of the bottom if i dont need to use bottom paint?

If you mean "Bottom Paint" as in the poisonous stuff they put on big boats that stay in the water all the time to keep barnacles from growing on them, it's not needed on beachcats because we generally don't leave them in the water full time.

If you mean you are painting after a repair to the bottom that could be different, but usually gelcoat is used to finish a repair to the very bottom of the hulls where they wear from being drug on the beach.
