I just brought my Prindle 16 home so this is the first of many questions. Do most sailors leave the tramp on all season, take it off to prevent sun damage when not in use or cover it up? Will leaving it on all season quickly destroy it?

Put it on in the Spring, take it off in the fall. It Can't hurt to cover it with something when not use the sun does eventually cause damage but it is not worth removing for every outing. It would add a good hour to your setup time.
