Hello. Husband and I had fun sailing MacGregor 26 in the Bay for a few years out of Berkeley and Richmond but somewhat new to cat sailing. We are near Folsom Lake but winds are not consistent here, especially in summer, so looking to go out in the bay from time to time (wetsuits ready).
Any recommendations for launching points if looking for calmer water to begin in, but more consistent wind? We will be driving for ~4 hours roundtrip so need good return on time investment 🙂
